Eskeia region Map ok so this is quite simply me creating a map of Eskeia and basing it off of the united kingdom and ireland. brown areas represent mountains, light green represents animal ranches, light yellow represents crop fields, grey represents cities, the multi coloured area is represented as one city, luminous green represents important towns, dark green represents forest, light tan represents beaches and the darker tan represents the snorlax causeway. Note this doesn't account for all places, just current ones and major areas. Anyway I hope you all enjoy and please leave feedback. :)

Are you planning on mapping the backgrounds using AdvanceMap?

@ThatOneSpriter: not to sound like a noob but what is AdvanceMap?

Reply ThatOneSpriter, April 11th, 2015, 4:46 pm

@Black Scyther: You're not a noob, I just recently found this out myself. Advance Map is like a mapping tool for Pokemon Games. It's where you can edit existing backgrounds and save them as pictures. You take a ROM like Emerald and then extract the map files to edit them. There's tutorials on youtube for that stuff.

@ThatOneSpriter: seeing as I'm relying on objects from the game, sprites and drawing out the areas around the characters, I won't be using the conventional maps that came with the games and I will be editing it and refining it from what it is later in the future, and I'll be giving the restofo the places names also. thanks for the info though. :)

Just a tip for the next time you make a map, try to keep away from using the pre-existing shapes on paint, no natural piece of land has sharp turns like on the left hand side of the main island. I'm not trying to be mean, Just trying to help
